Faraday Future Global Operations Statement
“First, Faraday Future (“FF”) is a global company focusing on the next generation of intelligent mobility ecosystems. Established in May 2014, the company is headquartered in Los Angeles, California with R&D centers and offices in the U.S. and China. FF currently does not have any plans to move its global headquarters to anywhere outside of California. After more than 4 years of development, FF has assembled a team of approximately 2,000 global top talent, including more than 1,200 employees based in the U.S., and in addition, FF is beginning an aggressive hiring plan in the U.S. for further top talent to include more than 1,000 new hires over the next six months.
Second, FF set up its HQ in California because it’s a hub of advanced technology and is the center of Internet and EV infrastructure. FF 91 has been reviewed by industry experts as one of the most advanced and leading products in the smart EV industry and we will continue to make more investment into its leading technologies.
Third, we are fully committed to the success and growth of our new manufacturing facility in Hanford, California, which is the first global ultra-luxury, UP2U (user planning to user) factory. We have made substantial capital investment in the Hanford facility and are in the process of expanding it as we ramp up the production of FF 91. Hanford marks the most significant step forward for the company in delivering its first production vehicle to market by early 2019. We are now heading to the next major milestone for FF 91 in the very near future: the first completed pre-production vehicle off-line from our Hanford facility. Lastly, this facility will be creating more than 500 new jobs and, as mentioned, we are aggressively recruiting in the Central Valley and beyond as Hanford reaches its full operating capacity.”
